Millions of workers are at home – being paid by the government to avoid lay-offs by their employers and businesses are going to the wall on a daily basis. And that’s all set in a heart-breaking context of illness and loss. But there is also hope and positivity as we tackle this together.
For companies like Burn that are able to continue trading (albeit in an unusual way that sees us scattered here, there and everywhere and collaborating via video link), the market conditions are tough. However, we’re working hard to help clients through this very difficult time. For some, we are leveraging our CRM expertise to help them reassure and in turn maintain the most positive relationships with their customers during a hiatus in business. For others, we are helping them pivot their businesses or find creative ways to take their products and services to market during lockdown. At times like this, fortune favours the brave – and with some media offering extraordinary value right now, there are very real opportunities for brands with stories to tell and relevant solutions to offer.
In such a challenging environment both socially and commercially, we all need to know we are serving a purpose, being productive and that we will eventually prevail. And a little recognition of this is very welcome at present – we all need a lift. So, we were particularly delighted to hear the news that we’ve received SIX nominations at the up-coming Drum Recommends Awards. The awards are client-voted and represent another great endorsement for the agency. Our nominations were in the following categories:
Winners are due to be announced at the end of this month. We wish all the other nominated agencies the very best of luck and thank our clients for the partnerships we enjoy through thick and thin.
