Ok, it’s popular to bash bankers and estate agents. But the latter have had a pretty tough time of it in recent years and have really had to up the ante to grab their share of the market.
Cue my experience of Kinleigh Folkard and Hayward. I invited them in to value and potentially market my home. The experience far surpassed my expectations.
Their sales manager came round on the day I called, knew the local market inside out and he had even checked their database for the number of registered buyers looking in the area, in the right price bracket. No jargon, no hard sell, no messing.
I guess not all estate agents are this good but KFH really did stand out and trounced Savills who had been round previously.
So maybe it’s time to give estate agents – or at least KFH – a break. Find them at www.kfh.co.uk
